this is only marked as receiving because i don't think lucy would get jealous or possessive over a sexual partner? while she defaults to monogamy^*, she would simply break up with someone if she thought they were cheating. while lucy is weird as shit, in this instance it mostly expresses itself in how she's extremely blunt and straight forward where it comes to sex and romance.

i think in darker, more toxic ships, she has the potential to be jealous and posessive, but only after significant character development within that ship, or in some kind of dark au. which i'm open to! but needs discussion etc.

i have zero problem with a ship partner being Like That about her, tho i interpret this as a dark ship (think the phantom of the opera type shit) rather than an endearing quality.

because of how straight forward lucy is, she may interpret this behavior as insecurity and say so.

^* - i think polyam could work for her, but it would take some getting used to just because it's extremely different from the culture she was raised in. it depends on the partners, bc lucy is pretty high maintenance (she thinks she isn't! and yet) but it could work and be satisfying for her.

this is not marked as 'maybe' because it bothers me in any way lol, i just don't think it'd work for lucy, or at least not in the way i've seen it depicted.

lucy is very! enthusiastic! about sex and having new sexual experiences. one of the things repeatedly emphasized in the first ep is how this is a major factor in her motivation for getting married. she's also very blunt about sex. a partner trying to introduce her to new things would be met with interest, enthusiasm, and inquiry, rather than something more innocent and wide-eyed. she expects equality in treatment and would demand it-- if you're doing something to her, she should be able to do it to you!

so like, while it's possible, it's going to be... different.

i'm not really interested in lucy giving sexual corruption because it'd be... pretty boring... she's really only familiar with quickies and vanilla stuff.

again i don't have a problem with this, i just think it wouldn't really work as i've usually seen it written.

lucy was consistently praised as a kid and clearly has a very confident mindset. i think being on the receiving end of praise kink would just kind of fly right past her. she'd be like... yeah! i know! not bothered or (too) egotistical, she's just kind of like yeah sure, it's cool. not particularly exciting for her.

as for giving, i could see it! it'd depend on the partner. but i don't really find this super interesting in its vanilla form i'll be real.
